Favorite Albums Of ‘11

#1. Lady Gaga- Born This Way

Possibly the most anticipated album of the year, Born This Way picks ups where Gaga left off and takes her career in a new direction. The title track Born This Way, did very well on the charts and for the first time ever had radio stations everywhere sending out a positive ‘gay, straight, bi, lesbian, transgender’ message. This albums sees Gaga expand on her well-known dance roots with tracks like Marry The Night, or my personal favorite, Scheiße, as well as take a new direction with Yoü And I, while still giving us the perfect pop song Edge Of Glory. While I won’t deny that some songs are nothing more than filler, Gaga’s charisma and stage presence will probably have me chanting every song come The Born This Way Ball. Was Born This Way the best album this year? No. Was it my favorite? Yuup.

I can’t FUCKING wait.

Its like every time I watch the videos I’m right back there feeling the euphoric perturbation of my soul.
